What's behind the door?

Choices. Life is full of choices. Often times it’s hard to determine what reality awaits us behind these choices—these doors, if you will. Jesus claimed to be “the door.” He also made the audaciously bold declaration that he was the way, the truth and the life. Outrageous? Maybe. But because millions of folks stand to their feet and comfortably describe this statement as verifiable in their own experience, it should give us pause. Was Jesus a raving lunatic, or was he the door? He was willing to lay down his own life to offer each of us this blood-soaked entrance into a whole new way of “doing life” (hence, the Red Door). He called it the entrance into the kingdom. We endeavor, with this little Internet community, to explore just what that looks like in current 21st Century terms. You are invited to join us. What else do you need to know about the Red Door Community?

We are a branch of Links Players International. Links Players endeavors to reach out to people in and around the game of golf, with a particular desire to influence the influencers in our world, so that they might impact others for the kingdom of God.

Online, the Red Door Community provides content to people who consider themselves part of this target group. On location, Red Door Community currently meets in Bermuda Dunes, California, at the Vintage Nursery (indoors), every Wednesday evening from November through April at 5:30 pm. Members from many different country clubs in the area attend these gatherings.

Jeffrey Cranford, the president of Links Players and the weekly teacher for the Red Door Community in Bermuda Dunes, is the primary but not exclusive content provider.
